  My name is Amy and for genius hour I am doing why do we forget things. I am doing why do we for get things because I forget things a lot and I've always wondered why.


Our brain deliberately makes us forget unimportant information so that we don't go insane and so we have room for more important information. There's just one problem in this process  our brain makes us forget important information as well.

There are some people born with something called Eidetic memory which is when you remember everything you ever heard or saw which causes you to go insane. 

I am going to be giving people quiz questions once I have finished my presentation.


I have now done my genius hour and some feedback was that   
Victoria: I thought your genius hour was intelligent but you should
have done a slide show.
Eliana:i liked it .
Alex:i thought it was really good because I also didn't know why we forget things.
